Shotguns, could be a trade mark of Merwin, Hulbert & Co. but I belief they were only importers
Manhattan Arms Co. shotguns apeared in their catalog of 1887.
Well to know that they were more expensive than the Colt Lightning Rifles.
12 gauge double barrel shotgun with hammer, 28" barrels marked Belgium Best Rolled Steel, marked
on the locks MANHATTAN ARMS CO. I still belief that this was a Belgium imported gun and mention it
only as it was proposed by Merwin. This entry will disappear as soon as I am sure that it is Belgium
manufactured.
